Hingham Resident Practices with New England Revolution Players in a Clinic for Children with Disabilities

From New England Revolution: Michael Perrino, 14, from Hingham, MA, attended the “Spaulding & Mass General Hospital Co-Clinic” for children with disabilities, in partnership with the New England Revolution on August 22 at Empower Field in Foxboro, MA. Michael, participating in his fifth clinic, practiced penalty kicks and effective dribbling with New England Revolution players throughout the day. Those who attended the clinic were able to build confidence and practice their soccer skills with four professional soccer players from the Revolution. The clinic and soccer-related exercises were run by the coaches of the Revolution Academy and the New England Revolution players.
Massachusetts General Hospital, Spaulding Rehabilitation Center and the New England Revolution partner yearly to provide kids with disabilities the opportunity to learn how to play the sport. Now over a decade old, this annual clinic had more than 100 kids participating in the event.
