Man Killed In Milton Crash Outside Blue Hills
State Police said Jake Bjork, 29, lost control of his car, rolled down an embankment and hit a fence, a wooden structure and then a tree.
MILTON, MA — A Raynham man was killed in a single-car crash Wednesday in Milton outside the Blue Hills Reservation, Massachusetts State Police said.
Around 10:05 p.m., State Police were called to Chickatawbut Road near the intersection of Forest Street for a report of a man trapped inside a car at the bottom of an embankment.
According to police, Jake Bjork, 29, was driving his Kia Optima on Chickatawbut Road. When he hit a curve after Forest Street, Bjork lost control of the car. State Police said the car rotated and went off the edge of the road, went down an embankment, struck a fence, a wooden structure and then a tree.

The driver was trapped inside the car. Milton fire officials freed him using a mechanical device, but Bjork was determined dead at the scene. State Police have yet to determine what caused Bjork to lose control.
The road was cleared around 1 a.m., Thursday.
