Milton Department Of Public Works Accepting Tree Requests

Residents who are interested in having a public tree near their property can submit a request form.

MILTON, MA — The Milton Department of Public Works is currently accepting requests for and donations of street trees and shade trees to be placed around the town.

Residents who are interested in having a public tree near their property can select one from a list prepared by the Milton Shade Tree Advisory Committee. Trees under this program can only be planted during the months of September, October, November, and December weather permitting.

Those who are interested in donating a tree are asked to contact the DPW before making a tree purchase, as not all locations are suitable as a site for tree planting and some species may be more suitable than others.
