Milton Girls' Soccer Upset Top-Ranked Apponequet
The Wildcats earned a 3-1 victory in the first round of the tournament.
Call Milton upset city after a big tournament win from the girls’ soccer team.
Despite qualifying as the lowest ranked team in the MIAA Division 2 South tournament, the Wildcats shocked top-ranked and previously undefeated Apponequet High School with a 3-1 win in the opening round.
With the victory, No. 16 Milton will travel to No. 9 Duxbury for a quarterfinal match on Nov. 7 at 4 p.m.
