Milton Issues Guidelines For Reopened Courts, Fields, Playgrounds

Milton is welcoming back tennis players, basketball players and children to its town parks, with restrictions, amid coronavirus crisis.

MILTON, MA — Milton is giving town residents access to its tennis courts, fields, parks and playgrounds — with restrictions — as the state moves into phase two of its reopening.

Tennis courts are open singles players only — no doubles — with no shared equipment allowed.

Basketball courts, and baseball and softball fields, are open for practices only. Games are not allowed at this time. No contact is allowed at this time either.

Face masks should be worn when social distancing is not feasible. Parents and guardians must social distance from players and coaches. Shared equipment is not allowed.

Parents must supervise play in playgrounds. No toys are allowed. Mask must be worn around other children and families. All children and parents are asked to stay home if sick.
