Milton Police Charge Two Juveniles With Stealing Car

Police said car was found on Milton Academy's campus and suspects tried to escape using a ride-sharing service.

MILTON, MA — Milton police and an alert Milton Academy security officer helped recover a stolen car on campus Friday night. Two juveniles were arrested on delinquency larceny charges.

Police said the Milton Academy officer saw a car parked haphazardly on campus with two juveniles inside at about 11 p.m.. Police said the suspects fled the car when she stopped to investigate. Milton police responding learned that the owner had left the key frequency operator button in the car and were told it had been taken.

Police said Officer Christopher Ernst then saw a ridesharing service loitering in the area. When Officer Michael Grant stopped the service, the two passengers matched the description of the juveniles sought.

Officer Christine Feeney furthered the investigation and charged the two juveniles with larceny.

Milton police thanked the Milton Academy security for its assistance in the arrest.
