MILTON, MA — Milton police officers are getting hairy for a good cause. Seventeen Milton police officers, a dispatcher and information technology assistant are growing beards to raise money for the Milton Residents Fund this month.

During November, members of the Milton police will be growing beards to raise money for the fund that raises money for Milton residents in net for utility payments and other household expenses. This year, the beard fundraiser, in conjunction with the Milton Police Charitable Fund, is expected to donate $3,500 to this cause.

Milton police said they are proud to partner for the fourth year in a row with Noreen Dolan, LCSW, at the First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church with #NoShaveNovember.
