Milton Police To Suspend Charitable Fund Solicitation Drive

Milton police said they will not conduct the letter drive this year due to the coronavirus health crisis and its impact on the community.

MILTON, MA — The Milton Police Charitable Fund is suspending solicitations for donations this year due to coronavirus health emergency and its impact on many residents and businesses.

The drive has traditionally been scheduled for May with mail requests for donations.

"The generosity, support and response from the residents of Milton and corporations is beyond impressive," Milton police said. "Through your continued support, the MPCF is able to direct donations throughout the year to worthy causes, families in need and other non-profits. Truly a rewarding experience for members of the Board of Directors."
