Milton Reintstates Plastic Bag Ban
Town officials said stores are once again accepting reusable bags amid the coronavirus crisis.
MILTON, MA — Single-use plastic bags are once again on the outs in Milton.
Town officials said on Wednesday that the plastic bag ban — which was lifted during the heart of the coronavirus health emergency — has been reinstated in town. Grocery stores must now accept reusable bags or provide reusable plastic or paper bags at a cost.

Town officials said those who have accumulated the single-use plastic bags over the course of the past month can bring them to stores such as Hannaford for disposal.
