Park Commissioners voted unanimously Tuesday to reopen fields, basketball courts, and street hockey rinks.

MILTON MA — Milton Park Commissioners voted unanimously Tuesday to reopen most of the town's outdoor recreational facilities.

Effective Tuesday, March 9, the town's fields, basketball courts, and street hockey rinks are open for active use. Tennis courts will reopen to the public mid-April.

"We are happy to take this step but please be aware that the guidance for mask wearing and social distancing is still in place and if the guidance is not adhered to we will need to step back and close the facilities once again," said Milton Parks and Recreation in a Facebook post. "Please be safe and have fun."
