Missing Man Found Dead At Houghton's Pond In Milton

MILTON, MA — A man who went missing while swimming in Houghton's Pond in Milton was found dead Thursday evening, said Massachusetts State Police in a news release.

Investigators say the man went missing at approximately 6:30 p.m. A search was immediately conducted by the state police Marine Unit and Dive Team and first responders from Milton and Canon.

The man's body was recovered shortly before 8 p.m., said police. His identity has not been released.

The incident remains under investigation.
