Neponset Neighbors Together Fund To Mitigate Coronavirus Impact
Milton's Interfaith Clergy Association and town of Milton join with Boston groups to create the fund through the United Way.
MILTON, MA — The Milton Interfaith Clergy Association and town of Milton have joined with several Boston-based groups to create The Neponset Neighbors Together Fund for those suffering the effects of the coronavirus health crisis.
The fund is designed to create a community fund to support residents of Milton, Mattapan, Hyde Park and Dorchester. The United Way will collect money, primarily through online donations, and send to NNTE to local nonorprofit organizations for distribution to residents for food, utilities and other housing-related expenses.
Boston and Milton officials will service as government partners and will help identify local nonprofit organizations, and residents, for benefits.

Outside of donated funds specifically for the NNTF, United Way may make contributions in addition to designated NNTF donations. Money from the NNTF will be distributed weekly in an ongoing process depending on community need and demand.
