Patricia Walsh: Milton resident, retired Boston Public School teacher

Service will be held on Aug. 10 at St. Mary of the Hills.

Patricia A. Walsh, 68, of Milton, passed away on Saturday, July 26, according to her obituary published by The Boston Globe.

After a three year battle with cancer, Ms. Walsh died peacefully in her home surrounded by loving friends. She was a retired teacher from Boston Public Schools, and was active in the Boston Teacher’s Union. She enjoyed golfing and traveling. She is survived by many cousins and friends.

Visiting hour at the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, will be held on Thursday, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. For information and directions, visit the Dolan Funeral Home website.

On Friday August 1 at 10 a.m., a Mass of Christian burial will be held in St. Mary of the Hills, 29 St. Mary’s Road. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

In Ms. Walsh’s memory, donations can be made to the “Pat Walsh Cancer Patient Support” fund at the Boston Medical Center Office of Development.
