Town Of Milton To Conduct Water Main Flushing This Week

MILTON, MA — Milton Department of Public Works (DPW) will be conducting water main flushing in the East Milton area starting Monday, May 17.

Water main flushing improves the town's water quality and is an important part of the water distribution system maintenance program.

Residents may experience discolored water and a reduction in pressure. The discoloration is not harmful and residents who notice discoloration should run their cold water for several minutes until it's clear.
