Town Of Milton Finalizes 2021 Memorial Day Ceremony
The event will take place Monday, May 31 at 11 a.m. at the soldier's section of Milton Cemetery.
MILTON, MA —The Town of Milton and American Legion Post #114 have finalized the 2021 Memorial Day program, set to take place Monday, May 31.
A ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. at the soldier's section of Milton Cemetery. Residents are encouraged to attend in person while maintaining social distancing, but the event will be taped by Milton Cable TV for those who cannot attend. There will be no parade from Milton Town Hall this year.
This year's featured speaker will be Rod Fritz, a U.S. Army Veteran and former WBZ News commentator, and a role call of all recently deceased veterans will be read to honor their service. Students from Milton Public Schools will provide music and assist with reading General Logan's order and a statement from Governor Baker.
