Annual Strut For Strays 5K To Be Held on May 22
The race will benefit the Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society.
The 21st annual Strut For Strays will be held on Sunday, May 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Upper Green on High Road in Newbury. The event will feature a 5K walk and road race, food, games, raffles, entertainment, and vendors. There will be activities for animals lovers of all ages. The Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society is sponsoring the event.
The 5K-road race will begin at 10:30 a.m. with an award ceremony at noon. The 5K walk will begin at 12:30 p.m. There is no registration fee for the walk, although there is a $25 registration fee for the road race. All proceeds go to benefit the Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society’s life-saving programs for cats and kittens. Donations are also accepted.
