Freezing Rain and Sleet Possible Thursday in North Andover

North Andover, MA - Winter is going to try to take one final swipe at Massachusetts on Thursday, but it looks like it will be a weak one.

Sleet and freezing rain is possible early Thursday morning into the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

Shallow cold air is pushing south while a warm front slowly lifts north, creating conditions that could lead to freezing rain or sleet.

While there is a possibility for sleet in the area, the National Weather Service states that there is only a low chance of icing in the area at this time.
