Gronk's Special Message For Boy on Last Chemo Treatment
Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots sent a message of support to Hunter Pietrowski, who's battling brain cancer.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Call it a Gronk spike against cancer. Rob Gronkowski on Tuesday sent a special video of support to one of the New England Patriots' biggest fans — Hunter Pietrowski. Hunter, 13, grew up in Lawrence. He was recently diagnosed with brain cancer. Hunter's final chemotherapy treatment is coming up and Gronkowski sent the boy a video message.
"Stay strong and let's fight through this," Gronkowski said, flexing. "Let's go!"
Hunter, who also has cerebral palsy, now lives in North Carolina with his family. A group of North Carolina Patriots fans pitched in to send Hunter to the Patriots' preseason game against the Carolina Panthers. Hunter met Tom Brady and Patriots owner Robert Kraft spoke with the family.

"Putting smiles on the faces of young fans … are among my favorite experiences," Kraft said at the time.
There's an online fundraiser for Hunter that has raised nearly $20,000 for his treatment.
