Power Restored After Storm Puts 2K In North Andover In The Dark

More than 15 percent of the town lost power Tuesday evening as Tropical Storm Isaias raced through New England.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — Power was restored to more than 2,000 North Andover residents by Wednesday morning, after Tropical Storm Isaias knocked out power Tuesday evening.

The Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency reported 2,076 National Grid customers were without power — 16 percent of the town — as of 6:15 p.m.

Isaias knocked out power for over 200,000 Massachusetts customers: 220,900 were without power as of 10 p.m.
