Lawrence Man Accused Of Driving Getaway Car In Friday Shooting
A 22-year-old Lawrence man was due to be arraigned Monday morning.
LAWRENCE, MA — A 22-year-old Lawrence man was due to be arraigned Monday on an accessory charge to the fatal Lawrence shooting that occurred Friday.
Prosecutors accused Francisco Jose Tejada Torres of driving the car that fled the fatal shooting at 461 Haverhill Street.
He was due to be arraigned on a charge of accessory after the fact of murder.

Edward Javier, 25 of Lawrence was found with multiple gunshot wounds Friday morning in a Lawrence backyard, officials said. He was declared dead on the scene.
Lawrence and state police and the Essex District Attorney's Office are investigating the shooting.
