Methuen Police Arrest N.H. Man for Bank Robbery

Police arrest N.H. for Saturday morning bank robbery.

METHUEN — A Danville, N.H. man is being held on $100,000 bail in connection with an armed robbery Saturday morning at The Savings Bank on Burnham Road, the Eagle-Tribune reports.

Thomas Bowler, 48, was arrested Saturday night and charged with armed robbery, possession of a firearm while committing a felony and stealing by confining or putting in fear, according to Methuen Police Chief Joseph Solomon.

The robbery occurred about 11:30 a.m. and the suspect showed a firearm.

Bowler is scheduled to be arraigned in Lawrence District Court.
