New England Revolution Honors North Andover Resident
The New England Revolution honored Jon Strauss, Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Midnight Riders' charitable arm.

From the New England Revolution: The New England Revolution honored Jon Strauss, Chairman of the Board of Directors for theMidnight Riders’ charitable arm, from North Andover, MA as the Hero of the Match at the team’s home game Saturday, May 12th against Toronto FC. Jon was recognized during a pregame ceremony for developing the “Clean Sheets for Clean Sheets” program. He had a sideline view of the Revs pregame warmups and enjoyed the game from the Putnam Club.
Jon, a New England Revolution season ticketholder and longtime member of the Revs supporter group Midnight Riders, to the Clean Sheets for Clean Sheets program in which Revs fans pledge to donate bedding each time the Revolution keep their opponent from scoring in a match. At the end of the season, donations will be contributed to the “A Bed for Every Child” initiative conducted by the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless which this season has already generated $1,000 in pledges.
