North Andover Coronavirus Test Rate Down To Just 1.1%
The town's positive test rate and case count both continued to fall.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — North Andover's two-week average positive coronavirus test rate fell to just 1.06 percent, the lowest level in months, according to the latest town-by-town report from the state released Thursday.
The test rate was 1.63 percent in last week's report.
The town reported just 121 coronavirus cases in the last two weeks, or 28.5 daily cases per 100,000 residents. Last week the town reported 156 cases in an equivalent period.

North Andover had 71 active cases Monday, the fewest since mid-November.

Forty-four cities and towns dropped out of the high-risk category in Thursdays report, as a dramatic recent fall in cases continued.
The seven-day average positive test rate for the state fell to 2.13 percent, the lowest level since early Nov. Statewide case counts, hospitalizations and deaths also all fell over the last week.
There were 1,803 new confirmed cases and 61 deaths Thursday.
