North Andover Coronavirus Test Rate Ticks Up, Stays Below 1%
As of Thursday the town reported 60 active cases of the virus.
NORTH ANDOVER, MA — North Andover's coronavirus test rate and case count both rose slightly according to the latest town-by-town report released by the state Thursday.
The town's two-week positive test rate rose from 0.80 last week to 0.89 Thursday. The two-week case count rose from 85 to 94.
The town reported 60 active cases Thursday, up from 51 a week prior. The town has reported 2,390 total cases and 86 deaths.

Statewide, just 19 cities and towns were labeled high-risk for the coronavirus in Thursday's report, down from 28 last week.

There were 21.3 average daily cases per 100,000 residents of the state over the last two weeks, down from 23.3 in last week's report.
The commonwealth reported 1,410 coronavirus cases and 42 deaths Thursday.
