The legislation to approve the funds is before the House of Representatives.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA -- The Town of North Andover could receive about $815,000 for road-related projects, if legislation passed by the House becomes law, according to North Andover Wicked Local.
The Massachusetts House of Representatives recently passed a bill to authorize $200 million in Chapter 90 funds for road-related projects in cities and towns throughout the state, Wicked Local reports. Within that bill there is $815,312 allocated to North Andover, which currently has several road and sidewalk projects underway.
The funds, if passed, will be used for a variety of purposes, including sidewalk, bridge and pothole repairs, landscaping, and tree planting, roadside drainage and streetlights, Wicked Local states..
