North Andover Down To Zero Active Coronavirus Cases

The town reported having zero active cases for the first time since the pandemic began.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — North Andover has zero active coronavirus cases, the town reported Thursday.

It was the first time the town had zero active cases since the virus arrived in the spring of 2020. The town's active count fell to one case in July 2020 but never to zero.

The town reported only eleven new cases in June and zero in the week leading up to June 24.

Roughly two-thirds of the town's population is at least partially vaccinated, according to state data.
