North Andover Garden Club 2020 Memorial $1,500 Scholarship
North Andover Garden Club accepting applications from local high school seniors for $1,500 scholarship in honor of Richard J. Kulpinski
Debbie Schmidt, Scholarship Chairperson for the North Andover Garden Club, is pleased to announce applications are now being accepted from local high school seniors for the Club’s $1,500 Memorial Scholarship. High school seniors interested in any post-secondary education for environmental science, horticulture, agriculture, forestry, botany, conservation, landscape design, or a similar field, are welcome to apply. All high school seniors who reside in North Andover are eligible, as well as children or grandchildren of NAGC members. Deadline to submit is April 15, 2020.
The scholarship is to help further the North Andover Garden Club’s mission to advance the science of horticulture, the conservation of natural resources, and the development of civic beautification. It is given in honor of long-time club member Richard J. Kulpinski (1938 – 2017) for his vast horticultural knowledge, his many contributions to the North Andover Garden Club and Town, his educational achievements, as well as his kindness, generosity, energy and remarkable talent for mentorship.
