North Andover Halloween 2020: What You Need To Know
The town set recommended trick-or-treating hours and is encouraging residents to take care not to spread the coronavirus.
NORTH ANDOVER, MA — North Andover officials set 5 to 7 p.m. as the town's recommended trick-or-treating hours for 2020, the town said Thursday.
Residents are asked to "use good judgment to avoid transmission of the coronavirus."
Anyone who does not want to participate should turn their outdoor lights off on Halloween; other residents are asked to respect that choices.

The town also shared state and federal public health recommendations for safely celebrating the holiday.
The Centers for Disease Control have said that traditional trick-or-treating is a high-risk way to celebrate the holiday, alongside indoor parties and haunted houses. Alternatives include outdoor events and leaving candy outside for trick-or-treaters to take.
