North Andover Has Overspent Snow Removal Budget

Thanks to all the snow we’ve experienced this winter, the town is over its snow removal budget.

North Andover has spent nearly double what it budgeted — $1.2 million spent, $750,000 in the budget, according to a report in the Eagle-Tribune.

The town is not alone:

Andover had budgeted $1.25 million for snow removal this year, but has spent $1.5 million;

Methuen — $1.4 million spent, $215K budget;

Lawrence — $1.2 million spent, $150K budget.
