North Andover Police Warn Of National Grid Impersonator Scam

Multiple residents reported two women posing as National Grid representatives attempting to get their personal information.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — North Andover police warned Monday of scammers posing as National Grid representatives.

The department has received two reports of two women posing as National Grid employees "going door to door to assist with customers getting a refund," the department said on Facebook.

The scammers attempt to get personal information from the victim's bill or phone, in order to access bank account information.

Residents should notify the department if they see this activity, the police said.

In the comments, a number of residents reported encountering the same attempted scam.
