North Andover Positive Test Rate Drops Below 2%

The town's positive test rate and case counts continued to fall over the last week.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — North Andover's positive test rate fell below 2 percent over the last two weeks, according to the latest town-by-town state coronavirus report.

The town's two-week positive test rate was 1.63 percent, down from 2.9 percent in last week's report. The town had 156 cases over that period, versus 195 last week.

The town remained moderate risk for infection, or yellow, according to the state's risk classification system.

The town-by-town report labeled 110 Massachusetts communities as high risk for the virus, down from 153 last week, as positive test rates fell in more than three-quarters of cities and town.

Statewide positive test rate, case counts, hospitalizations and deaths also all fell over the last week.
