North Andover Replaces Lights With Green Communities Grant

The town will save $27,000 annually with the new lighting fixtures, it estimated.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — North Andover recently replaced inefficient lighting features at three town buildings using a Green Communities grant.

The town estimated it would save $27,000 annually with the new fixtures at the Middle School, the High School and Stevens Memorial Library.

The town also used incentives from National Grid and Eversource for these replacements.

The full grant was for $125,686 and funded weatherization improvements at the library and the Kittredge, Sargent and Thomson Schools as well.
