North Andover Rolls By Waltham 34-20 In Division 2 North Football
Quarterback Jake McElroy (265 yards total yards, three TDS) led the Scarlet Knights over seventh-seeded Waltham in D-2 North football.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA -- Quarterback Jake McElroy completed nine of 14 passes for 195 yards and a touchdown to lead North Andover to a 34-20 win over Waltham (3-5) in the first round of the Division 2 North football playoffs Friday night. Second-seeded North Andover improves to 7-1 and moves on to play the winner of today's game between Newton South (6-1) and Chelmsford (3-4). The second round game would be at North Andover on Friday at 7 pm.
McElroy added 70 yards and two rushing touchdowns in the ground game. "It was a character-building win. That will make us better, hopefully, for next week," North Andover head coach John Dubzinski told Wicked Local Waltham. For more on this story, see Wicked Local Waltham.
