North Andover Select Board Approves 'Complete Streets' Policy

The state's Complete Streets program provides funding to towns for infrastructure that "accommodates all modes, abilities and ages."

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — The North Andover Select Board approved Monday the town's "Complete Streets" policy, which if approved by the state will make the town eligible for infrastructure funding.

The state program, which began in 2016, provides planning grants up to $50,000 and construction grants up to $400,000 for work to build streets that "accommodate all modes, abilities and ages."

The Board approved the policy Monday. It needs Department of Transportation approval before the town can win grants.
