North Andover Will Close Schools Early On Tuesday
Officials made the decision on Monday with forecasters calling for winter weather beginning Tuesday afternoon.
NORTH ANDOVER, MA -- With a winter storm was expected to dump as much as eight inches of snow on the region, North Andover Public Schools will release students at 1:45 pm Tuesday. All after school and evening activities are canceled, and there will be no early release day on Wednesday.
The North Andover Youth Center will also be closed on Tuesday afternoon.
As of Monday evening, the weather forecast was still in flux, but even if the storm delivers lower snow totals, forecasters believe a wintry mix could make for a messy PM commute on Tuesday. The worst weather is expected to hit greater Boston around 2 pm Tuesday.
