North Andover Wins $22K Workplace Safety Grant

The town's grant will go toward workplace safety training for the Department of Public Works.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — The North Andover Select Board recently voted to accept a $22,000 state grant for workplace safety.

The board voted April 5 to accept the $22,000 grant from the department of industrial accidents.

Town Manager Melissa Murphy-Rodrigues said the grant would go to workplace safety training at the Department of Public Works, with the goal of ensuring OSHA compliance.

The town recently received another $3,040.62 workplace safety grant from the Massachusetts Interlocal Insurance Association.
