Jeremiah F. Minihan, 63, of North Andover, died peacefully in his home on Thursday surrounded by his loved ones.
Born in Lawrence, Jerry grew up in North Andover and played football, baseball, and basketball for North Andover High. He was inducted into the North Andover Hall of Fame in 1990. He went on to play football and baseball for Colby College. Jerry coached the Scarlett Knights booster club teams and was a board member of the North Andover Booster’s club.
He was a loving father and grandfather. He leaves behind his wife Diane; sons John and wife Lisa of Windham, NH and their children Michaela and Kyle; Andy and wife Lindsay of Medford MA; daughter Colleen and son Jude of North Andover; brothers and sisters Pat and Pat Cerrutti of Marblehead, Mary Margaret and Len Provost of North Andover, Joe and Peggy Minihan of Acton, ME, his brother in law Norman Lundquist of North Andover, and his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Ellen Lundquist and John Minihan both of North Andover.

Calling hours were Monday from 4-7 p.m. at Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third Street, North Andover, Ma. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. in St. Michael’s Church followed by burial in Ridgewood Cemetery.
