Lawrence Shooting Victim Identified As Edward Javier Of Lawrence

LAWRENCE, MA — Officials identified the victim of a fatal Lawrence shooting Friday as Edward Javier, 25 of Lawrence.

Javier was found with multiple gunshot wounds Friday morning in a Lawrence backyard, officials said. He was declared dead on the scene.

The Essex District Attorney's Office and Lawrence and state police are investigating the fatal shooting.

No arrests have been made.

The body was reported on Haverhill street around 8:30 a.m. Friday.
