Police Arrest Man, Seize Meth At His North Andover Auto School
A Lawrence man was arrested Friday and charged with trafficking methamphetamine.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — Police arrested a Lawrence man at his home Friday and seized methamphetamine at both his residence and his North Andover business, North Andover Auto School.
Michael Larocque, 56, of Lawrence, was charged with multiple counts trafficking over 200 grams of methamphetamine.
Larocque's arrest Friday followed a two month investigation by the Massachusetts State Police, North Andover Police, and other agencies, the state police said Monday. The investigation included sting purchases at both Larocque's Colonial Road home and his driving school at 203 Turnpike St in North Andover, police said.

Police served warrants at both the home and the auto school, Friday.
"At the residence, the investigative team located and seized approximately two pounds of methamphetamine, vials of an unknown liquid, and paraphernalia related to narcotics distribution," state police said in a release. "A search of a vehicle on the property resulted in the locating and seizure of an additional amount of methamphetamine. At the auto school, investigators located an additional 400 grams of methamphetamine, pills, and approximately $12,000 in US currency."

Larocque was arraigned Monday and held on $250,000 cash bail. His next hearing before Judge Michael Uhlarik is scheduled for Oct. 19.
