Prayer Vigil for Bombing Victims at Andover Congregation Thursday
The Unitarian Universalist Congregation will be holding a prayer and meditation service for those that were injured or killed in the Marathon bombings Monday afternoon.
Rev. Lara Hoke of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Andover is leading a prayer and meditation service this Thursday to reflect on and pay respect to the victims of the Marathon bombings.
Hoke said the service will be an informal, yet solemn affair with music and a "contemplative" candlelight setting.Â
"It's a chance to experience our beautiful sanctuary in the evening, lit by candlelight, in a contemplative setting. This time, we will remember in meditation and prayer all those affected in the tragic Boston Marathon explosions," said Hoke in a press release.Â
