'Restore the Bosh' 5K Brings in Bucks
A 5k and 1.5 mile fundraiser over the weekend supported Christopher Boshar of North Andover, who was paralyzed in 2011.
Hundreds of people ran and walked through Chelmsford on Saturday with the hope that Chris Boshar may one day join them.
Proceeds from the 2nd Annual Restore the Bosh Walk, Run and Roll will go toward physical therapy for Boshar, a North Andover resident and Chelmsford High grad who in 2011 was paralyzed from the neck down in a boating accident.
More than 500 had pre-registered for the event, held at McCarthy Middle School in Chelmsford. An additional 100 registered the day of the race, which was manned by nearly 100 volunteers and spearheaded by Boshar's good friend, Dave Sturgeon, and his wife, Kristin.
