NORTH ANDOVER – The inaugural Runner's World Classic will invade North Andover and Andover July 15-17, featuring three races and other events over the course of the weekend.
There will be races scheduled for all levels, including a kid's fun run, 5K, 10K and a half marathon. Courses will start and finish at the event's headquarters at Merrimack College. Courses will run through North Andover, downtown Andover, Phillips Academy and a residential community.

The "Classic" weekend schedule will include:

- Seminars presented by industry leaders;
- live music after the half marathon on Sunday;
- a pre-race dinner with Runner's World editors on Saturday;
- kids races and children's programing on Friday;
- 5K and 10K races on Saturday; and
- a Celebrity Mile on Saturday.
Participants will also have the option of challenging themselves with the "Hat Trick" – the 5K, 10K and half marathon – or the "Five and Dime"– the 5K and 10K races.
