Selectmen To Discuss Outdoor Dining Regulations For Reopening

Outdoor dining at restaurants will be allowed as part of the state's second phase of reopening, beginning Monday.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — The North Andover Board of Selectmen will vote on rules for temporary outdoor dining at their meeting Monday evening.

Under the second phase of the state's reopening, outdoor dining at restaurants will be permitted across the state beginning Monday.

The Board will vote on "amendments to special permits and any other approvals that may be needed for temporary outdoor seating," according to the agenda.

A variety of other businesses are allowed to reopen beginning Monday, including retailers, certain childcare facilities and day camps, libraries and malls. All are under strict regulations to limit the spread of the virus.
