Shoplifting and Parking Lot Assault

Wednesday, Jan. 22
At 11:48 a.m., the animal control officer went to Andover Animal Hospital to bring a dog to the MSPCA.
At 2:52 p.m., Kohl's reported a female shoplifter. Carianne Machado, 26, of 48 Turnpike St., North Andover, was charged with shoplifting.
At 10:54 p.m., a caller reported that he was assaulted behind Quic Pic and was sent to the hospital.
Thursday, Jan. 23
At 6:56 a.m., a caller from a taxi company reported that a school bus clipped her car.
At 11:59 p.m., a caller on Turnpike Street reported an odor of gas in a building. Columbia Gas responded.
