Teachers Union Approves North Andover April 29 Full Return Plans

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — The North Andover Teachers Association approved plans to bring all middle and high school students in full time beginning April 28 and 29, the School Committee said.

The union and the committee signed a memorandum of understanding outlining full return plans, the committee said April 7.

Elementary students already returned to full-time in-person learning following a prior memorandum. The state has mandated middle schools return to full in-person learning by April 28.

There is no state deadline for high school full return, but North Andover has for April 29, the day after the middle school return date.

The memorandum sets out plans for schedules, classroom spacing, live streaming, meals and more.
