Two From North Andover Selected In MLB Draft
Stars from St. John's Prep and Central Catholic High Schools were selected in the MLB draft Wednesday.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA -- The New York Yankees selected former St. John's Prep shortstop Max Burt in the 28th round as the 847th overall pick of the Major League Baseball draft on Wednesday. Burt is currently a senior at Northeastern University. He was one of two players from North Andover to be selected on Wednesday.
The Milwaukee Brewers selected Central Catholic pitcher Steve Hajjar in the 21st round by the Milwaukee with the 635th overall pick. Hajjar has signed a letter of intent to play at Michigan University next year. He had been ranked the top prospect from Massachusetts by Baseball America this year among all college and high school players.
