Community Corner
Your Guide: Tommy Strong Fundraiser Saturday
The town's most famous mansion will host the event to help a local boy injured in a boating accident.

The community continues to rally for Tommy Cox, the 10-year-old North Andover boy injured in a boating exercise.
As medical costs rise, the Cox family -- which includes siblings John and Julie -- have some help coming from their community.
On Saturday, supporters of the Cox family will have a "Tommy Strong" fundraising event at the Stevens Center.
Cox lost one leg and severely injured his other leg in a boating accident on Lake Winnipesaukee recently.
There are still tickets available. Tickets are $25. Even if you can't make it to the event, you can still donate. Visit www.tommystrong.com for more details, to donate and to join the Tommy Strong team.
Tommy -- who attends Sargent Elementary School and enjoys wrestling, lacrosse and football -- has had multiple surgeries since the accident and will require extensive medical treatment in the future.
When he is stable, Tommy is set to be transferred from Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire to Spaulding Rehab in Boston. And when he comes home, his family will have to remodel their home to accommodate his needs.
