Bomb Squad Called To Massachusetts School; Student Arrested
Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School in Taunton was evacuated and a student was arrested, according to Taunton police.
TAUNTON, MA — Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School in Taunton was evacuated Tuesday after a student issued a threat, according to police. The incident happened at about 11:45 a.m. when school officials reported a suspicious package in the cafeteria. The Massachusetts State Police Bomb Squad responded to the school and determined the package was innocuous.
The student, whose name and age were not released, was charged with threatening a school.
