Coronavirus: Norton First Reponders Salute Assisted Living Staff

Norton first responder vehicles on Tuesday held a lights-and-siren parade for staff at the Westgate Residences.

NORTON, MA — Noron first responders saluted workers at the Westgate Residences assisted living facility with a lights-and-siren parade from police, fire and EMA personnel on Tuesday.

"These individuals have and continue to work tirelessly through this pandemic and we appreciate their efforts to keep all safe during this trying time," Norton fire posted in a video on their Facebook page.

Wingate Workers expressed appreciation for the town support.

"Light up Wingate!!!" Vanessa Duverger, who identifies herself as a licensed practical nurse, posted in appreciation on Facebook. "Thank you to everyone that came out for us today. This means so much to all of us. We appreciate the love and support we have received from everyone."
