1. The Fall Town Meeting in Norton has been set for Monday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. Warrant articles will be accepted until 3:30 P.M. on August 19, 2013, at the Selectmen’s Office.
2.Watch a flick at the Norton Library tonight at 6:30 p.m. Jackie Robinson's story is told in this biopic from writer/director Brian Helgeland. Robinson paved a new road for minorities by being the first African-American to play in Major League Baseball since the racial barrier was put in place in the late 1800s.
3. Summer Storytime at the library at 10:30 a.m.Â
Join Librarians Ms. Leslianne or Ms. Lee for these drop-in storytimes for ages 0-5. We’ll read stories about digging gardens, digging dinosaur bones, trucks that dig and dogs that dig. A small craft project will follow.
